To His Excellency President Isaias Afwerki .. You are the sandalwood

A New Scene

Abdulsami’ Al-Omrani

The Eritrean president, Isaias Afwerki, revealed that he has received many offers and temptations to change his steadfast position regarding Sudan.

He added that the Sudanese people are noble and have contributed greatly to his country, and for this reason, he will always honor this favor and will never sell his stance of supporting Sudan, no matter the temptations.

He said “I never hesitated for a moment to stand by Sudan, its army, and its people” He further mentioned that he rejected all the offers and did not respond to any kind of temptation, emphasizing that he was honored to stand with the Sudanese people.

These are the words of the Eritrean president, the noble and generous man, one who never forgets favors. How ugly and worst is the traitor who forgets the good and the promises made, stabbing others in the back like Brutus’ knife.

How great you are, how courageous you are, President Isaias Afwerki. How dignified you are! You are indeed the embodiment of gallantry, nobility, and courage. You are like the sandalwood that Nujum al-Din Al-Fadhil sings about. Thank you, Eritrea, and thank you, President Isaias Afwerki.

The Sudanese people are noble and generous, and you know this because your other half is Sudanese, sharing our dialect and traditions through your long friendship with many Sudanese figures.

Your heart always yearns for Port Sudan, where you spent memorable days that you will never forget.

During that time, you were a young fighter against the emperor Haile Selassie’s regime, and later against the dictator Mengistu Haile Mariam.

You did not betray or forget, because you know that the Sudanese people are naturally emotional, keep their promises, and are motivated by the heroic actions. Therefore, you are now a hero and a fearless knight in the eyes of the Sudanese people.

Eritrea, the peaceful and beautiful country that welcomed the Sudanese without any restrictions, has honored its Sudanese guests, unlike many neighboring countries that have betrayed us, sold us out, and pocketed the price earned through immoral means.

These countries have turned their backs on Sudan, shamelessly opening their lands to serve the interests of the evil state, allowing mercenaries and deadly weapons to flood into Sudan, killing its people.

As is well known to all observers, Ethiopia, a neighboring country to Eritrea, is one of the six countries bordering Sudan. It took its price, just like Chad, the Central African Republic, and Libya, under the control of the criminal militias of Haftar. South Sudan, which is ruled by an ignorant and foolish old man despite having many capable individuals and scholars.

Eritrea has stood apart from the neighboring countries of Sudan that have been bought in the political slave market, all of which have declared their readiness to sell out and join the UAE in committing crimes against the Sudanese people, except for two countries—Egypt and Eritrea.

The governments of the other four neighboring countries, including Kenya and Uganda, have declared that Sudan and its people are their enemies, even though this animosity is entirely fabricated. The leaders of these nations have forgotten and betrayed the promises and good relationships they once shared with Sudan, both as a state and as a people.

Despite Eritrea need for financial or military support, its noble president, with the resolve of a free man, refused to sell out his stance. Thank you, His Excellency President Isaias Afwerki, for you truly deserve the medal of friendship, nobility, and generosity from the Sudanese people.
