I pointed out during my conversation with the Ethiopian Prime Minister that “the multiplicity of platforms present now is very harmful and does not help in the solution.” He further informed him of Sudan’s position on various administrative matters relating to the IGAD organisation’s activities, which would be discussed at the meeting scheduled for June 12th in Djibouti, and it is worth noting here that Sudan is the organisation’s current chair since 2019.
