COMESA Federation Implements Professional Women’s Workshop

In the period from the 26th to the 27th February, The COMESA Federation of Women in Business (Sudan Chapter) implemented a training workshop at (Btagdary Social enterprise).
Titled (The first Cooperative Educational Course to Find out the Right Steps for Establishing a Cooperative Society) and presented by Advisor Mohamed Al-Fateh Abdulwhab AL-Otaibi cooperative expert and professional trainer at the British College of cooperation and professional advisor and training at UNDP Sudan.

The workshop came out with several objectives:
- Propagation of collaborative thought and culture among the public, preparing and qualifying cooperative and non-cooperative through awareness-raising, education, training, and capacity building.
- Creating an interconnected cooperative society through exemplary cooperatives in all fields.
- Contribute to achieving social and economic equity within the framework of principles of sustainable development and preservation of the environment.
- Sponsorship and commitment to the applications of global cooperative values and principles
- Supporting women, youth, and craftsmen through cooperative organizations to activate their role in society.
A group of Sudanese community women and entrepreneurs entered and participated in the training workshop.
