Increasing Demand for Oil Investment in Sudan

Khartoum — The Minister of Energy and Mining, Jadein Ali Obaid, met with representatives from both BGN INT. and SMT at his office in Khartoum on Sunday to discuss investment opportunities in Sudan’s oil sector.

The minister welcomed the BGN representatives, and stated that Sudan is witnessing an increase in the number of enterprises wishing to invest in the country’s oil sector.

According to Emin Emanov, BGN CEO, the company had offered the minister to invest in infrastructure and the building of high-capacity petrol reserves, in addition to expanding storage capacities for petroleum products, as well as constructing berths for ports, roads and bridges.

BGN is a leading energy company with operations that include trading, storage and transportation of petroleum, petrochemical products and commodities around the world.
