Khartoum 6/23/2021 — First Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, stressed not to pay attention to rumors targeting the unity of the security system, stressing its harmony, cohesion, and work for one goal.

His Excellency said in the enlightenment that he presented today at the General Command of the People’s Armed Forces, in the presence of Lieutenant-General Muhammad Hamdan Dagalo, First Vice-President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander of the Rapid Support Forces, members of the military component of the Sovereignty Council, the Chief of Staff and his deputies, and the Director of General Intelligence, to the commanders of units, branches and officers at the rank of brigadier general And above in the armed forces and rapid support, he said, “The armed forces and rapid support are at the heart of one man to preserve the security of the homeland, citizens and the unity of the territory, and they are on the lookout for the enemy that seeks to dismantle Sudan and fragment it.

Stressing that the armed forces and rapid support are one strong hand to protect the transitional period and bring about a democratic transition The goal is to call for the necessity of achieving political unity for all Sudanese. He added, “We will never allow any third party to spread rumors and sow discord between the armed forces and rapid support.” He stressed the interest in developing the armed forces and rapid support and working on more tight coordination at all levels and improving the living situation of the military individual so that he can devote himself to performing his duties and duties to the fullest. He affirmed his keenness to achieve comprehensive peace and reach a satisfactory national agreement through dialogue with the comrades of the armed struggle who did not catch up with the peace process.

For his part, Lieutenant-General Muhammad Hamdan Dagalo, First Vice-President of the Transitional Sovereign Council, Commander of the Rapid Support Forces, called for eliminating rumors that target the unity and cohesion of the armed forces and rapid support in its infancy and to ensure that these forces are immunized from harmful purposes. Saying that “the enemies are waiting for us to quarrel and fight each other,” stressing that the armed forces and the Rapid Support represent one force that follows the Commander in Chief and is under his command, reiterating his commitment to bringing about a democratic transformation in the country.
